When I was ready to get solar, I also felt I should reroof, so I started doing research and getting estimates to do both. When I met with Jerry for a roofing estimate, I found that he also did solar. Jerry and his solar rep were very patient, as I had many questions and am very picky. After doing my due diligence, I selected Shadowfax, as I believed they offered the best value. In addition to quality materials, they were able to show significant savings on the roofing and solar, as well as projected electric bills! It has been nearly a decade and the roof still looks great and in good condition. As for the solar panels, they have proven to be even better than predicted in reducing my electric bills, especially given the significant increases in rates over the past decade. We purchased an entirely new EPDM roof about 9 years ago from Shadowfax Roofing. The roof came with a 10 year warranty on workmanship and lifetime on materials. About 5 years in I noticed something that needed repair, they came over and fixed it quickly without question. Just recently, a little over 9 years in, I noticed some dry rot around our chimney (notoriously difficult spots for leaking) and called them up. Ben came out (highly recommend Ben), spent 30 minutes inspecting the damage. concluded it was within the warranty. Five days later there were 3 guys repairing our roof. Awesome service! They could have cleaned up just a bit more as there were pieces of wood and materials here and there but that's a detail. They got the vast majority. Thank you ShadowFax!
